Marshall Gottlieb is the CEO and Co-Founder of Agave Home Loans, a Phoenix-based mortgage lender recognized for its client-first approach to home purchases, refinances, HELOCs, home equity loans, and VA IRRRLs. With more than a decade of experience in mortgage lending, financial strategy, and leadership, Marshall founded Agave to redefine what a transparent, service-driven mortgage experience should feel like for homeowners across Arizona and beyond.
Before launching Agave in 2020, Marshall led high-performing mortgage teams at Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage), gaining deep expertise in both retail and wholesale lending. His dual background in finance and hospitality continues to shape Agave’s culture of communication, education, and long-term client trust.
Today, Marshall leads a fast-growing team helping clients leverage their home equity, consolidate debt, and make confident, informed financial decisions.

Doug Wang is the Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Agave Home Loans, where he leads operations with a focus on quality, communication, and client care. A proud graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Business Communications, Doug brings over ten years of experience in the mortgage industry — combining big-lender expertise with the personalized service that defines Agave.
After years in the corporate lending world, Doug helped launch Agave to create a more personal, client-first mortgage experience. His mission is simple: ensure every team member provides clear guidance, tailored education, and transparent options whether clients are purchasing a home, refinancing, or exploring home equity and HELOC solutions.
Outside the office, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, Colleen, and their two daughters, creating memories together whenever possible. And when time allows, you’ll likely find him on the golf course with friends, embracing his competitive spirit and love for the game.
Joey Harrington is a Partner and the Chief Technology Officer of Agave Home Loans, where he leads the company’s technology strategy and innovation. A top graduate of Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University, Joey holds two bachelor’s degrees and a master’s degree in engineering.
Before joining Agave, Joey spent eight years in engineering design, manufacturing, and testing, including five years at Honeywell Aerospace, where he served as a Senior Project Engineer in the cybersecurity group. There, he led certification efforts to ensure the secure development of electronic systems used in aircraft and aerospace applications.
Driven by a lifelong fascination with technology, Joey has developed a broad skill set spanning software development, IT infrastructure, and systems integration. At Agave, he applies that expertise to optimize the digital mortgage process, streamline loan applications, and enhance the client experience through secure, user-friendly technology.
Outside of work, Joey enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with his wife, Liz, and their three boys, embracing Arizona’s outdoors whenever possible.
