My family and I can now make the necessary home improvements we have dreamed about for many years, so my children can all have there own bedrooms. Agave was very fast and easy to work with the first time, that’s why we gave them our repeat business this time. Things started out great and then started to decline. They promised us the last several days a particular date we could close and we have been counting on that. Now, all of a sudden at the last moment they moved our closing date out two days later. Very disappointed, but that’s what happens when you have to many people involved. Poor communication with their coworkers.

Awesome experience. I tried to work with 3 different lenders for my HELOC and AGAVE was personable, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to see that my needs were met on my terms. Easiest loan I have ever been a part of in my 63 years. The process was simple, with my broker, Joseph Borja walking me through every step of the process. He was available to take a call with any question that I had and was very pleasant with each conversation. All papers were sent to my email and the Lawyer/Notary for the final signing came to my office for the closure. I had to sign two papers in person and was through in under 10 minutes. My loan was funded within a week. Followup to ensure all was taken care of to my satisfaction conducted by Joseph and he assured me that he would be available for any questions that I may have in the future as well as looking over my loan terms to see if something better was available in 6 months. I highly recommend this company if you want to feel as if you are important even if you are not sitting face to face with your broker.

I can't say enough good things about Agave Home Loans. This is our second home purchase and our experience was night and day compared to our first purchase. We loved the personal attention that the whole Agave team gave us. We were expecting several headaches along the way since we were selling our home through Zillow and buying our new home through Open Door at the same time. On top of that the sellers requested a quick closing. In this crazy market we were scared that something was going to cause a delay and that we would miss out on our home. Agave made sure that didn't happen by coordinating with all parties involved and making sure we got the keys to our new home in record time. I talked to Sam and went over all our documents with him and he pre approved us for a loan. When we signed a contract two weeks later for a condo he then told us since I was unemployed that we couldn’t use my income and we weren’t going to be able to get the loan. Even though when I first talked to him I told him I was retired but drive for Uber and Lyft for extra money . But I told him I’m not driving now because I’m making more on unemployment and don’t have to put myself at risk driving people around the area . I asked him why you didn’t tell us this two weeks ago when he pre approved us and we sent him pages of documentation. I told him I understand if you can’t get a loan when your unemployed but why did he string us along for 2 weeks. He had no idea about the unemployment situation in the US and that unemployment was at 15 percent nationwide. I was totally flabbergasted and sounds like he didn’t know about Covid 19 either. There co owner paul called me to apologize but at that point he couldn’t do anything. We called another mortgage company and an hour later we had a mortgage without using my info. We just used my wife’s documents and they put me on title
