I don’t do bad reviews unless I really feel like I need too. I was shopping for a small second mortgage to do more upgrades to my house. I was potentially going to pull 50k and got a quote. For a 15 year, they were going to charge over 51%! $96,840 would have been what I paid. That is absolutely ridiculous. Donavon was good with customer service but I guess what does it matter if they don’t really care in the end. My credit score is high 700’s too! Absolutely mind blowing.

I talked to Sam and went over all our documents with him and he pre approved us for a loan. When we signed a contract two weeks later for a condo he then told us since I was unemployed that we couldn’t use my income and we weren’t going to be able to get the loan. Even though when I first talked to him I told him I was retired but drive for Uber and Lyft for extra money . But I told him I’m not driving now because I’m making more on unemployment and don’t have to put myself at risk driving people around the area . I asked him why you didn’t tell us this two weeks ago when he pre approved us and we sent him pages of documentation. I told him I understand if you can’t get a loan when your unemployed but why did he string us along for 2 weeks. He had no idea about the unemployment situation in the US and that unemployment was at 15 percent nationwide. I was totally flabbergasted and sounds like he didn’t know about Covid 19 either. There co owner paul called me to apologize but at that point he couldn’t do anything. We called another mortgage company and an hour later we had a mortgage without using my info. We just used my wife’s documents and they put me on title
