Just had our closing this morning, Agave offered us a mortgage that is 1 1/2 percent lower interest than our current mortgage and they also saved us a couple hundred dollars on our closing costs versus "the other company". We cannot recommend this company enough. I am not the best at filling out & sending documents needed for a home loan and Lynkon walked me through all of them. He was always available whenever I had a problem or question and the closing went so smoothly because of his attention to detail and the people they use for closings. And even after closing Lynkon emailed or called to make sure we had finished all we had to do and to see if we had any more questions. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Agave. We have refinanced 3 times and this was the easiest process because of this company.

I just refinanced with Agave Home Loans, and the process was so easy! I'll admit I'm slightly biased -- I'm married to a co-owner -- but he asked for "blunt and honest feedback." Alex and Doug were awesome! I spent less than 20 minutes from start to finish. The notary canceled on us morning of, but the team worked to find someone to fill in that same day. Agave home loans was so amazing in helping us refinance our house! They gave us excellent and candid advice about what was our best options on taking cash out and keeping our payment the same or lowering our payment a good amount. Everyone was so easy to work with!
I talked to Sam and went over all our documents with him and he pre approved us for a loan. When we signed a contract two weeks later for a condo he then told us since I was unemployed that we couldn’t use my income and we weren’t going to be able to get the loan. Even though when I first talked to him I told him I was retired but drive for Uber and Lyft for extra money . But I told him I’m not driving now because I’m making more on unemployment and don’t have to put myself at risk driving people around the area . I asked him why you didn’t tell us this two weeks ago when he pre approved us and we sent him pages of documentation. I told him I understand if you can’t get a loan when your unemployed but why did he string us along for 2 weeks. He had no idea about the unemployment situation in the US and that unemployment was at 15 percent nationwide. I was totally flabbergasted and sounds like he didn’t know about Covid 19 either. There co owner paul called me to apologize but at that point he couldn’t do anything. We called another mortgage company and an hour later we had a mortgage without using my info. We just used my wife’s documents and they put me on title
